Did you know that the vast majority of people in this day and age have excess abdominal fat? The first thing that most people think of is that their extra abdominal fat is simply ugly, is covering up their abs from being visible, and makes them self conscious about showing off their body.

However, what most people don’t realize is that excess abdominal fat in particular, is not only ugly, but is also a dangerous risk factor to your health. Scientific research has clearly demonstrated that although it is unhealthy in general to have excess body fat throughout your body, it is also particularly dangerous to have excess abdominal fat.

There are two types of fat that you have in your abdominal area. The first type that covers up your abs from being visible is called subcutaneous fat and lies directly beneath the skin and on top of the abdominal muscles.

The second type of fat that you have in your abdominal area is called visceral fat, and that lies deeper in the abdomen beneath your muscle and surrounding your organs. Visceral fat also plays a role in giving certain men that “beer belly” appearance where their abdomen protrudes excessively but at the same time, also feels sort of hard if you push on it.

Both subcutaneous fat and visceral fat in the abdominal area are serious health risk factors, but science has shown that having excessive visceral fat is even more dangerous than subcutaneous fat. Both of them greatly increase the risk your risk of developing heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, stroke, sleep apnea, various forms of cancer, and other degenerative diseases.

Part of the reason visceral fat is particularly dangerous is that it apparently releases more inflammatory molecules into your body on a consistent basis.

If you care about the quality of your life and your loved ones, reducing your abdominal fat should be one of your TOP priorities! There’s just no way around it. Besides, a side-effect of finally getting rid of all of that excessive ugly abdominal fat is that your stomach will flatten out, and if you lose enough stomach fat, you will be able to visibly see those **** six pack abs that everyone wants.

So what gets rid of extra abdominal fat? Is there actually a REAL solution beyond all of the gimmicks and hype that you see in ads and on commercials for “miracle” fat loss products?

The first thing you must understand is that there is absolutely NO quick fix solution. There are no pills or supplements of any sort that will help you lose your abdominal fat faster. Also, none of the gimmicky ab rockers, rollers, or ab belts will help get rid of abdominal fat either. You can’t spot reduce your stomach fat by using any of these worthless contraptions. It simply doesn’t work that way.

The ONLY solution to consistently lose your abdominal fat and keep it off for good is to combine a sound nutritious diet full of unprocessed natural foods with a properly designed strategic exercise program that stimulates the necessary hormonal and metabolic response within your body. Both your food intake as well as your training program are important if you are to get this right.

I’ve actually even seen a particular study that divided thousands of participants into a diet-only group and an exercise/diet group. While both groups in this study made good progress, the diet-only group lost significantly LESS abdominal fat than the diet & exercise combined group.

Now the important thing to realize is that just any old exercise program will not necessarily do the trick. The majority of people that attempt getting into a good exercise routine are NOT working out effectively enough to really stimulate the loss of stubborn abdominal fat. I see this everyday at the gym.

Most people will do your typical boring ineffective cardio routines, throw in a little outdated body-part style weight training, and pump away with some crunches and side bends, and think that they are doing something useful for reducing their abdominal fat. Then they become frustrated after weeks or months of no results and wonder where they went wrong.

Well, the good news is that I’ve spent over a decade researching this topic, analyzing the science, and applying it “in the trenches” with myself as well as thousands of my clients from all over the world to see what works to really stimulate abdominal fat loss.

The entire solution… all of the nutritional strategies, as well as training sequences, exercise combinations, and more have all been compiled in my Truth About six pack abs Program.

Keep in mind that the point of this whole program is NOT abdominal exercises (that is only a very small portion of it). The main point of this program is showing you the absolute most effective strategies for losing your stubborn abdominal fat, so you can get rid of that dangerous health risk, as well as get a flatter more defined midsection.

If you follow the guidelines, you WILL lose your belly fat that has been plaguing you for years. This is not guesswork… it is a proven system that works time and time again for all of my clients on every corner of the globe that actually apply the information I teach. If you apply it, the results will come. It’s really that simple.

The only reason most people fail in their fitness goals is that they have good intentions at first to adopt a new lifestyle, yet after a few weeks or months, they abandon their good intentions and slip right back into their old bad habits that gave them the excess body fat in the first place.

I want to help you succeed in finally getting rid of that extra abdominal fat that is not only UGLY, but also DANGEROUS.

Don’t waste another day allowing that nasty abdominal fat to kill your confidence as well as contribute to your risk for MAJOR diseases.

Contrary to popular belief, the most important thing you can possibly do to have perfect 6 pack abs is not just thousands of crunches. In fact, it’s not even endless stomach exercises or special machines bought from late night TV commercials.  The best thing you can do to start to show perfect 6 pack abs is control your diet.

What about all of those models doing hundreds of ab exercises each day?

Most of the time, ab exercises alone won’t get you the washboard stomach that you’re looking for. While there are some fantastic ab exercises that will build muscle in your stomach, they won’t give you the look of the 6 pack that you’re looking for.  In order to have that 6 pack look, you need to reduce your body fat, and this is best

done through good dieting.

So what kinds of foods are best for a 6 pack?

There are several different foods that can be absolutely great to help you achieve sexy 6 pack abs.

Egg Whites

Egg whites are a low calorie, high protein low fat breakfast that give you lots of energy and nutrients and keep you full for hours without needing to load up on useless calories that will end up making you fatter. I eat them almost every morning, and sometimes throw them in for a dinner meal if I’m in a rush and don’t feel like cooking a bigger meal.

Chicken Breast

Boneless skinless chicken ******* are the staple of any good dieters meal program.  They’re low in fat, high in protein, and full of great nutrients. As long as you don’t cover them in unhealthy sugar filled sauces or fry them in fatty cooking oil, eating them with at least one meal a day will help you feel full and help you trim the fat so you can have those **** abs.

Fish

Fish, like chicken ****** is absolutely the best source of animal protein available.  As long as you don’t bread it and fry it, it’s actually better than chicken *******.  This is because fish contains Omega-3 fatty acids which have been proven to help people lose weight as well as lower bad cholesterol.

Broccoli and green veggies.

If you’re trimming body fat to have perfect abs, green vegetables should be on your plate at every meal. They are full of fiber, vitamin c, and plenty of other nutrients that help cut the fat. Because they are full of fiber and low in calories, they are also a great snack to help you get through your day. Even if you don’t love them,

don’t overlook them if you want a healthy way to get 6 pack abs.

While exercise will help you build the muscles in your stomach, it is so important to control your diet so that you cut your stubborn body fat. If you Diet for 6 Pack Abs, you will see them quicker than you could imagine.

Get Abs Without Gym

How to get abs if you do not have access to a gym? Do not get frustrated! There is still another way and hundreds of others are doing it and still get awesome results!

If you think that abs of steel can only be made in the gym? You are wrong! Do not give up hope of losing belly fat and getting a flat stomach if you cannot afford expensive gym memberships because you can get abs without any gym equipment at all!

With the saying, If there is a will, there is a way. You can get abs if you can satisfy these few general criteria, which is getting a good cardio workout, abdominal training, some resistance training and weight loss dieting. If all these factors are being worked at, there is no reason that your body would not respond and get a 6 pack.

Here, you about to get tips on how to get abs without gym and sophisticated fitness equipment. All you need is a pair of running shoes, a place to jog, a mat and a strong burning desire to get 6 pack! Do at least 3 session of cardio workout per week.

How To Get Abs Without Gym 1

Do wind sprints! Yes, you can now get away with the boring usual forty-five minute cardio workout sessions. For this wind sprint cardio workout or also called high intensity interval training, you need a large field or a long stretch of road about at least 100 yards. It involves 10 intervals where by one interval consist of a 100-yard sprint and 100-yard jog. So, to do this excellent cardio workout, you need to set a target that is 100 yards away. It can be a tree or a lamppost. You then sprint as fast as you can towards it and when you reach it, you turn around and jog back to the starting point. Do 10 intervals. This wind sprint cardio workout can really speed up your metabolism and burn the fat off!

How To Get Abs Without Gym 2

Do push ups. Do not look down on this exercise just because it is the most practiced exercise in high school. Push-up is a very effective exercise to build up upper body strength like the chest muscles, shoulder muscles, triceps and the core. Really challenge yourself when you do push ups. Go beyond your body capability and take your endurance to the max! If you did fifty reps last week, do sixty this time and when you reach failure, push it harder by doing partial reps.

There are many ways to make a push up more difficult. You can push-ups with your feet on top of a bench, push ups with one foot and push ups with a clap between reps. To do the push up with a clap in between reps, you launch as high as possible during the up phase so that both your hands are off the ground, then in mid air, you clap before coming down to starting position.

How To Get Abs Without Gym 3

Now it is time for some abdominal work to get that flat stomach. The abdominal muscles are just like any other muscles in the body. They will improve and respond if the principle of over load is applied. You do not need expensive and modern gadgets to really hit the abs. You can really work the abdominal muscles by just doing floor abdominal exercises.

Crunches are one of the best abdominal exercises. Basically, to do a crunch, you just need to lie down on the floor, face facing up and palms lightly touching the back of your head with the elbows spread wide. Lift your shoulder blades of the floor and maintain an orange size gap between your chin and your chest. Do not pull your head. You need not go all the way up, just make sure your lower back is flat on the floor and the shoulder blades are off. Hold the contraction the top for at least one second and come back to the starting point under controlled.

How To Get Abs Without Gym 4

In gyms, a lot of people do hanging leg raises and captain chair leg raises for lower abdominals. Do not worry if you do not have access to these high tech equipment. You can really target your lower abdominals by doing reverse crunches on the floor as well.

To do execute this exercise, lie down flat on the floor facing up. Raise your legs so that your knees are bent and your thighs are at right angles with the floor. With a strict form, raise your lower back of the floor so that your knees are now above your chest. Do not forget to squeeze your lower abs at the peak of the contraction. Do three to four sets of thirty solid reps on each abs session.

How To Get Abs Without Gym 5

Do not forget about your core. The function of your core is to hold your tummy in and to protect your spinal cord. To work your core, you need to do planks and this can be done just on the floor. To perform the plank, lie down facing down with your elbows under your shoulder, forearms parallel with each other, one foot apart. With just your elbows and toes, lift your entire body off the floor by squeezing your abdominals and **** muscles. Keep your entire body one straight line from head to toe.

How To Get Abs Without Gym 6

You do not need any complicated equipment for getting on a weight loss diet. Dieting has a tremendous play in all efforts. You are what you eat they say it seems very through. If you put garbage in your body, no matter how much exercise you do, getting a 6 pack will be an almost impossible task. You have to feed the muscles with quality nutrients like low fat protein and low glycemic carbs. Avoid simple sugars, high fat foods, junk food, simple sugars and high sodium containing foods. As clearly stated by Tom Venuto the author of Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle, you can get a nice set of rock hard abs without any supplements at all. All you need is the right method of exercise and eating fat burning foods!

How To Get Abs Without Gym 7

Spice up your workout for extra calorie burn! The body is an amazing system that has the capability of evolving. If you have been doing a particular workout for a long period of time, your body will adapt to its effects and your fat loss results will plateau. You have to keep the body guessing, as this will optimize your fat loss. There are many ways of changing your workout and one good example is by applying high intensity workout techniques like supersets, tri sets and giant sets.

You can also mix up the muscle combination that exercises in a day. Even my changing the reps and sets in a workout can keep the body guessing. For example in stead working out the chest and back in day 1, work the chest and biceps instead. Try this month heavy and the next month light but high reps.

How To Get Abs Without Gym 8

Do not do lateral movements for oblique muscles, do rotation movements instead. You can see people doing weighted side bends to get those nice stripes of oblique muscles but really, they are making a big mistake. To really get results, you have to do rotation movements like rotation crunches. The function of the oblique is to rotate the torso, that is why doing rotation movements are better that lateral movements.

Well, hope you now have a better understanding on how to get abs without fancy and high tech equipments. You have got to really believe in yourself that you can do it. All you need to do to get an awesome body is the right method of getting abs, have the heart, passion and desire. Persevere and you sure can do it!

Bodybuilders frequently seek to develop the abdominal muscles, as this particular area creates a powerful, attractive looking physique. In hopes of achieving the most impressive abdominal appearance, bodybuilders frequently implement body weight exercises such as crunches or sit-ups, and may even enhance resistance by adding weight to induce failure within a lower rep range, taxing the abdominal muscles with sufficient intensity and overload to theoretically improve appearance.

But is the commonly held belief that crunches are the most effective abdominal exercise yet another in the myriad of bodybuilding myths? Not exactly, but the idea that direct abdominal training is the key to enhancing stomach appearance is a very misleading connotation, as exercise is actually the least important concept in producing impressive abdominal definition, since a proper diet is the basis behind the success of any correctly structured abdominal muscle enhancing routine.

For abdominal muscles to achieve the impressive appearance all bodybuilders strive for, muscle size need not necessarily increase by any significant margin, but body fat, which covers abdominal muscles and hides their shape, must decline dramatically to improve definition, which is the very goal that any bodybuilder seeking to enhance the mid-section is striving for. Although in other muscle groups, weight training is normally the method used to improve muscle appearance, abdominal definition is more contingent upon body fat percentage than mid-section muscle size improvements, therefore a properly designed fat loss diet routine is the basis for producing a streamlined, muscular abdominal section.

What many bodybuilders fail to realize is that performing a large number of abdominal crunches or sit-ups will cause very little if any stomach appearance improvements unless accompanied by significant body fat reduction, and the latter goal does not depend in any way upon direct abdominal training, but rather is contingent on whether diet variables are correctly constructed for consistent fat loss, and this not only involves the correct calorie intake for a bodybuilder’s individual metabolism, but proper protein, carbohydrate, and fat ratios so that sufficient macronutrients are present to create an ideal fat burning environment for abdominal definition improvement. The number of bodybuilders who endlessly perform abdominal crunches or sit-ups without any visible mid-section appearance improvement is staggering, and due to lackluster results, they then seek alternative abdominal sculpting exercises, when in fact, direct stomach training is not related to mid-section definition, and any bodybuilder in such a situation is in desperate need of a modified, efficient fat loss diet plan.

In addition to a correctly designed diet structure, a bodybuilder should implement aerobic activity five days per week when he or she is attempting to improve definition in any part of the body, as although aerobic exercise does not greatly impact abdominal appearance when following a poorly designed diet routine (which is why many mistakenly assume aerobics is wasteful), cardio activity will greatly enhance the speed of fat loss when used in conjunction with a potent diet philosophy. As you’ll notice, I have yet to place emphasis upon abdominal crunches or sit-ups, the two most often sought after solutions by bodybuilders attempting to significantly enhance abdominal appearance, as despite their popularity, such exercises actually rank last in terms of priority when aiming for abdominal appearance improvements, behind aerobic activity, and the most important factor which numerous bodybuilders neglect to address, a systematically structured fat loss bodybuilding diet routine which will encourage fat reduction from all areas.

The benefits of pursuing a fat loss phase do not only relate to abdominal enhancement, but will actually cause the biceps, chest, arms, and all other muscle groups to appear larger, specifically because they become more shapely with the missing layers of fat. So, when you are seeking to improve abdominal appearance, remember that crunches and sit-ups are far less important than pursuing effective fat loss diet techniques, despite the hype you’ve heard surrounding crunches. When you decide to aim for body fat reduction, you need not fear muscle loss if you continue to employ proper weight training workout techniques, and make certain to avoid drastically reducing caloric intake or following a low carbohydrate diet plan, both of which can quickly burn away muscle tissue, and will degrade, as opposed to enhance, overall body appearance. Lastly, I recommend that you continue performing abdominal crunches or sit-ups, but know that the layer of fat must disappear before the fruits of your labor become apparent, and this is directly linked to how you eat, not abdominal workload.

Abdominal Contraction

Control of movement is the key to re-educating the lower abdominal wall and allowing the deep pelvic stabilizers to fire efficiently. This progression begins with mastering the abdominal contraction. The key is isolating the muscles of the abdominal wall. Place your fingers on your belly button to feel this contraction. Pay strict attention to NOT allowing the use of the legs, hip flexors or glutes.

For that matter, always keep the abs braced and the back flat, never round or hunch your shoulders. Do not lean back with the exercise, proper abdominal contraction will counter any extension moment and protect the back while strengthening the abs. Unfortunately the commercially made machines ‘designed’ to strengthen the back actually place repetitive stresses on the spine and disks while encouraging hyperextension.

You see the great looking models on the infomercials with great abs using the particular device being advertised and the before and after photos that seem pretty darn convincing. Yes, the research took place on abdominal contraction but it had NOTHING to do with waist reduction!

Core training involves proper lower abdominal contraction or Abdominal Bracing. This involves coordinated firing of the abdominal wall while deactivating the hip flexors and keeping the upper body and legs relaxed. Learning this concept and the concept of spine stabilization with neutral spine will naturally lead to learning how to find, maintain and work within the parameters of coordinated spinal mechanics.

In the initial stages of the treatment, doctors recommend exercises involving upward and downward movements of ankles. Lower back pain exercises, such as the abdominal contraction, wall squats, heel raises and straight leg raises, involve tightening of the abdominal muscles while moving the knees or heels.

The surrounding fat around the waistline can only be substantially reduced with proper cardiovascular work and healthy eating. An abdominal contraction does almost nothing to battle the unwanted stomach due to the fact that a resistance exercise, such as the sit-up does almost nothing as a means of losing fat. Doing sit-ups as a means of slimming your waistline is as silly and comparable to doing bicep curls in hopes to create skinner arms.

Lower Abdominal Contraction – continues the action to articulate through the lumbar spine and provide support for the back, from the front of the body. Lie on your back with knees bent and hand across your stomach. Take a full breath in and expand your belly with air. As you exhale feel the transversus muscle compress in toward your spine. Breath in 4 counts, but breath out 8 counts. Make the last 4 counts of the exhale a deep abdominal contraction.

This is done lying on your back with your knees bent and your palms resting on your abdomen. Then you must raise your body from your shoulders without lifting your feet – this is repeated 20 times. Remember to hold your breath when you raise your body up, hold for 3 seconds then lower it down while you breathe out.

The body should be warmed up before working out the abdominal section. This is because any cardiovascular activity will help one person get better abdominal contraction. Also, this will help lessen the occurrence of getting the muscles strained in the abdominal area.

Abdominal Fat Loss Without Pills

With the help of science it is much easier today to implement different techniques in weight loss industry. For instance, it is possible to target only certain areas of the body with different workouts if you need to improve them faster.

There must be thousands of websites out there that offer super strict diets for abdominal fat loss and promise instantaneous results. These diets usually make you start off extremely strict with many limitations with regards to what no to eat so that results can be seen as soon as possible. Once the results start showing the diet will usually allow you to tone it down a little but still strict enough to have you follow a tight schedule.

The problem with these extreme diets is that they don’t take into account the ultimate goal of every person: to burn fat and keep it off. This is one of the most misinterpreted parts of the diet regimen as most people notice immediate results but eventually end up gaining the belly fat back once they get off the plan.

Here are some natural ways to ensure best and long-term results of your meal plan:

Eat 3 meals a day and try to make sure they are roughly at the same time to maximize ability of the body to properly digest all foods and increase metabolism Making sure your diet is balanced, including all the food groups and in proper portions Drinking lots of water Taking the right supplements also in the right portions and coupling them with adequate exercise

When it comes to burning belly fat, it’s important to remember to not leave out essential nutrients and vitamins. Using muscle supplement can greatly increase your chances for best results in the gym. Permanent abdominal fat loss means that you need to increase the muscle in the area to keep the fat off and get the best looking abs.

The sooner you start applying healthy and active lifestyle, the faster you will see results, including flat stomach. And once you achieve that goal keep doing it again and again.

The Best Abdominal Exercises Exposed!

When people think about exercises to firm up their abdominal muscles, sit-ups and crunches always come to mind. While crunches may be part of an exercise regime to work out the abs, there are many other strategies and methods that may be utilized by people looking to lose belly fat, make their six pack abs pop out, and condition the whole body as well.

Effective abdominal exercises that are, in most cases, geared towards delivering lasting benefits to the entire body, ideally must begin with some guidance from a certified trainer who will be able to expertly guide and teach you the importance of preciseness when you get going with your workout. A good exercise plan will also have, among its major components, recommended meal plans and dietary suggestions, with due emphasis on macronutrients – high quality proteins, complex carbohydrates and healthy fats that may help an individual carry on with a mild-to-moderate or intense training/workout program. In most cases, the dietary recommendations are customized to suit individual needs and requirements.

There are seemingly simple abdominal exercises (and for most people, easy does it or easy is the best) such as those suggested by Shawn Phillips, strength and fitness expert and author of the book, Strength for Life. He devised variations of the traditional crunches, starting off with Swiss Ball ab crunches, followed by reverse crunches, and capped off by ab crunches. These are to be performed in three sets of 12 to 15 repetitions. Crunches can help tone the muscles but a person with excess poundage must lose the belly fat first to see those muscles, and therein lies the challenge of sticking to a healthy diet.

Training the midsection if important because apart from revving up and uncovering six pack abs, the abdominals’ core muscles improve posture, reduce low back pain as well as injury risk, and strengthen the torso. From certified trainers’ point of view, the most effective and hence the best abdominal exercises include ab crunches that flex the upper abs and serve as foundation for the entire workout; reverse crunches that strengthen the lower abs; and side bends that work on lateral oblique muscles. There is also the bicycle, adjudged by the American Council on Exercise as among the best abdominal exercises because it utilizes every muscle in the abs to create a well-built torso.

It must be reiterated, at this point, that abdominal exercises per se may not create the washboard abs you may be longing for if you happen to have a sluggish metabolism. There many ways, however, to speed up your metabolism, including healthy snacking in between meals or going for low glycemic index carbohydrates (like oatmeal, multi-grain and whole grain bread, whole wheat pasta, and certain vegetables), aerobic exercises or cardio workout, hydrating/drinking enough water to stay energized, lifting weights, and monitoring food intake in a diary. Indeed, uncovering six pack abs requires constant monitoring of what, how much, and when you eat. Exercising, eating well, and bringing out six pack abs is no mean feat. Discipline and patience are essential. If many people can tone their abdominal muscles well, trim their belly fat and let six pack abs emerge, so can you, with much help from a proven program that’s certifiably safe and effective.

Do 8-Pack Abs Really Exist?

Are 8-pack abs a myth or magic? You may want to know if it’s really soon after you acquire your 6-pack abs. But the first question you need to ponder on is, is there any difference between a 6-pack abs and an 8-pack abs?

Before you start counting on the number of packs, think that an 8-pack abs is actually a super defined 6-pack abs. If you cannot see any difference between the two, as there exists but only so subtle, remember that an 8-pack abs will give you physical advantages not available to those having a 6-pack abs.

The eight pack of an 8-pack abs can be found in the lower abdomen just below the six pack and it is actually a midsection that is lean and well-toned.

While both eight pack and six pack compose the rectus abdominus muscle group, it is the tendons that separate and distinguish each from the other.

Unfortunately, not all gentlemen are endowed with a gift of further achieving an eight pack. Genetics plays a main role in getting an 8-pack abs and will serve as a final arbiter if a 6-pack abs is all that you can make. There are some signs that manifest if you have the genes for achieving an 8-pack abs. See if the tendons of your lower abdomen are still large ad taut and if they are you may be lucky to further develop that pay of your abdomen for an 8-pack abs.

People who are consuming terrible portions of fat, sugar, and alcohol won’t be getting either of the 6-pack abs or 8-pack backs. It goes to show that only the determined and the disciplined ones will be getting them.

If you have worked your way out to achieve a 6-pack abs through rigorous exercise and a strict diet, developing an 8-pack abs also consists of the same mechanism: tone up muscles and lose fats.

The twofold tasks can be accomplished with having a low fat, low sugar diet, weight training, and cardiovascular exercise. It sounds similar to getting a 6-pack abs but reaching to the other level is difficult and can even be frustrating sometimes.

Your diet should consist of fresh fruits and vegetables, lean meats and poultry, fresh fish, sufficient fiber, and lots of water.

Aside from the aerobic cardiovascular exercises, you will also need to incorporate 20-30 minutes of cardio exercises into your daily routine. It is okay to be persistent but don’t tire yourself by adding another 30 minutes extra.

Free weight training also helps in burning fat and building muscle through elevating your body temperature. It is important that exercises should focus on your midsection when you’re doing your abdominal routine. Do exercise with high resistant and low reps to make your abdominal muscles grow and eliminate fats.

An 8-pack abs is yours to achieve given the following formula: good genes, proper diet, and abdominal exercises that focus on the midsection.
